In 2018, he moved to Anaheim, California, to join Mather Dance Company’s year-long Bridge Into The Industry program and subsequently relocated to Los Angeles, where he immersed himself in the dance scene through drop-in classes. In 2020, he returned to Halifax, Nova Scotia, to establish himself as a professional artist.
Isaac’s professional credits include performances with Rooted Dance Projects in “Don’t Wake the Lions”, “WHODUNIT?”, and “BASSline”; Zimmerdans in “The Devil’s Intervals”; and Mocean Dance in “Km+tkinu”. Isaac collaborated with Marrin Jessome to create and perform the duet “Blur”, which they presented across Nova Scotia. In 2023, he was commissioned by Nostos Collectives for a week-long artistic residency to explore his choreographic process. Isaac has worked as a freelance teacher and choreographer in Halifax and has been a regular faculty member at House of Eights Dance Studio, Halifax Dance, and Down Beat Dance Company. He has recently relocated to Calgary, Alberta, to join Decidedly Jazz Danceworks for his first year with the company.
