Professional Classes & Workshops
Throughout the season we host Drop In Jazz classes, taught by Kathleen Doherty and visiting guest artists. Classes are generally taught at an Intermediate/Advanced level, and are held at Halifax Dance & The Maritime Conservatory.

PER Residency
Offered annually since 2021, our PER (play, explore, research) Residency is a one week program, designed for choreographers & dancers to play, explore, and research new ideas together.
PER is on pause for Spring 2025. We plan to bring the program back for Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 - stay tuned!
Rooted Youth Project
Our Youth Project returns for the 2024/25 Season!
The Rooted Youth Project brings together dancers from across NS between the ages of 15-25 to be a part of a new dance creation by Stephanie Mitro.
This season's Youth Project will perform in our June 2025 show at
Alderney Landing Theatre.
